SSC Constable Exam Pattern: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Temporary Constables (GD) – Male and Female in Delhi Police Examination Pattern & Scheme of Examination are given below…

SSC Constable Examination Pattern & Scheme of Examination: The Computer based examination will consist of one objective type multiple choice paper containing 100 questions carrying 100 marks, with the following composition:

Note:

All questions will be in the format of Objective Multiple Choice Type. The computer-based examination will be conducted in English and Hindi only.

I. Each incorrect answer will result in a negative marking of 0.50 marks. Candidates are advised to be mindful of this while responding to the questions.

II. The examination dates will be communicated to candidates solely through the Commission’s website.

III. There is no provision for re-evaluation or re-checking of scores. Correspondence regarding this matter will not be entertained.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST):

Based on the performance in the Computer Based Examination (CBE), candidates will be selected for PET/PST by the Commission. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) will take place at various centers determined by the CAPFs. A detailed examination of candidates’ eligibility and documents will occur during the Detailed Medical Examination (DME). Therefore, candidates must verify their eligibility as specified in this notice before participating in CBE/PET/PST. Candidates shortlisted for PET/PST will undergo biometric verification, followed by PET&PST. The PST will involve the measurement of height, weight, and chest (as applicable).

Ex-servicemen shortlisted in the Computer Based Examination for PET/PST will need to attend PET/PST for the recording of height, chest, and weight measurements only. There is complete relaxation in PST/PET for Ex-servicemen. PET will not be conducted for these Ex-servicemen candidates; however, they must qualify in the medical examination.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET): 
Candidates have to clear the race within the following time limits:

A female candidate, identified as pregnant for 12 weeks or more during the tests, will be temporarily declared unfit, and the appointment will be put on hold until after childbirth. The vacancy for which the woman candidate was selected will be kept reserved for her. Six weeks after the date of confinement, she will undergo a re-examination for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), contingent upon presenting a medical certificate of fitness from a registered medical practitioner. If found fit, she may be appointed to the reserved post and granted seniority benefits as per government instructions, amended as needed.
Physical Standard Test (PST):
Physical Standards for the posts are as follows:
Height:
1. Male: 170 cms
2. Female: 157 cms
Few categories of candidates are allowed relaxation in heights mentioned above. Relaxed standard of height for such candidates are as follows:

Chest: Male candidates should have following standards of chest measurement:
1. Un-expanded: 80 cms
2. Minimum expansion: 5 cms

Chest measurement for female candidates will not be taken. However, it will be ascertained that the chest is well developed.
Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.
Medical Examination:

Candidates qualifying in PET/PST will be shortlisted for Detailed Medical Examination (DME). During the DME, the following documents will be verified:

  1. Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate to establish age, name, and educational qualification.
  2. Domicile Certificate/Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) issued by the competent authority.
  3. Valid NCC Certificate, if applicable.
