SBI PO Eligibility: State Bank of India Probationary Officer (PO) Eligibility Details.

Nationality: Applicants must be an Indian citizen

Age: Candidates must be at least 21 years old but not exceed 30 years of age as of April 1, 2023. In other words, candidates should have been born no later than April 1, 2002, and no earlier than April 2, 1993, encompassing both these dates.

Relaxation in the Upper Age Limit to Reserved category candidates:

  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates: 3 years
  • SC/ST candidates: 5 years
  • Ex-servicemen (including Emergency Commissioned Officers/Short Service Commissioned Officers) who have served a minimum of five years continuous Military Service and have been released upon completion of their assignment (including those whose assignment is expected to conclude within 6 months from the last date of application, except in cases of dismissal or discharge due to misconduct, inefficiency, or physical disability attributable to Military Service, or those released/discharged on account of physical disability attributable to Military Service or on invalidment): 5 years
  • PWD (SC/ST) candidates: 15 years
  • PWD (OBC) candidates: 13 years
  • PWD (Gen/EWS) candidates: 10 years

Educational Qualification:

  • Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or possess an equivalent qualification acknowledged by the Central Government.

NOTE :-

  • Candidates in their Final year/Semester of Graduation are eligible to apply provisionally. However, if selected for an interview, they must provide evidence of having successfully completed the graduation examination. Those with an integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should verify that the date of passing the IDD aligns appropriately.
